In Hillsboro, Oregon born and raised
on the playground is where I spent most of my days.
Chillin' out, maxin', relaxin' all cool and all
shooting some b-ball outside of school,
when a couple of guys who were up to no good
started making trouble in our neighborhood.
So I went out of state and got a degree,
my first step closer to retiring in Hawai'i.
Post-grad I whistled for a cab and when it came near
the license plate said FRESH and it had dice on the mirror.
If anything, I could say that this cab was rare
but I thought "Nah, forget it... Yo, next to grey hair!"
I... pulled... up to the town about seven or eight.
I yelled to the cabbie, "Yo homes, smell you later!"
Looked at my kingdom, I was finally there
to sit on my throne as a prince of the square.
